This was the first game I ever worked on that got an actual release. High Vaultage was made by the founding members of Ostrich Banditos as part of a seminar about creating and selling a game in 3 weeks. The final product was sold to Mochi Games.

The game is a basic Flash highscore game, where the goal is to fly as far/high as possible as a pole vaulter propelled by his own flatulence, boosted by collecting mexican food.

The actual game was created in the equivalent of about 3 full work days. It was probably the best exercise in rapid prototyping I’ve ever done, because for every gameplay idea that was mentioned we basically made a quick and dirty build, to see if it made it better or worse. This eventually led to a final build that was just fun enough to play to actually start pitching it to potential clients.
